New Microwave Drying Technology of Natural Rubber Passed Identification

Entrusted by the Ministry of Agriculture and presided over by the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, the Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences completed the Academy of Agricultural Products Processing Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences "New Technology of Microwave Drying of Natural Rubber" Achievement App The expert group concluded that the project has filled the domestic gap and reached the international advanced level of similar research.

After the expert group actually inspected the test process, carefully listened to the project leader's report and reviewed the relevant information, it believed that the technology was innovative. Using microwave drying instead of air drying to dry natural rubber has the characteristics of fast drying speed, energy saving, reducing environmental pollution and cleaner production. It is suitable for automatic production control in factories. The drying time of natural rubber is shortened to 15-20 minutes (the original air drying takes 3-4 hours); the microwave drying of natural rubber has the characteristics of high drying speed, energy saving, reducing environmental pollution and cleaner production. The microwave drying technology can follow the existing rubber processing technology and equipment besides drying equipment, save the granulation process, and has practical application value.

The main completion personnel of this project are Chen Mei (researcher of Agricultural Products Processing Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences), Deng Weiyong, Zhang Beilong, Zeng Zongqiang, Wang Yongzhou and Huang Maofang.
